Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what data UVvpn processes when providing cross-border network acceleration and subscription services, why it is processed, how long it is kept, and how users can request access or deletion.

Data Collection and Use

Only a username and password are needed to create an account; no email address is required. UVvpn does not treat a registration email as a required account field or ask users to submit one to create an account. The system processes usernames, encrypted authentication credentials, account status, and plan status for login verification, service delivery, usage measurement, and account security.

After a plan is purchased, the system stores records such as the order number, order amount, payment status, selected plan, and creation and completion status. This information is used to confirm payment, activate service, process refunds, resolve disputes, and maintain transaction records. When the official website is visited, the system may also process page visits, referring pages, browser type, device type, and basic error information to summarize usage statistics, identify page issues, and improve site navigation.

No-Logs Principles and Operational Records

UVvpn does not record which websites users visit or retain webpage content, search content, communications, or history that could be used to reconstruct specific browsing activity. Data required to operate the network service is handled separately from browsing content.

To measure usage, troubleshoot connections, and identify abnormal use, the system may temporarily process account identifiers, traffic usage, connection results, time ranges, and selected nodes as necessary operational information. These records are used only for service operation and security purposes, not to build browsing profiles. After the relevant purpose ends, the data is deleted, aggregated, or de-identified. Records related to unresolved faults, order disputes, or security incidents may be retained until the matter is completed.

Cookies and Local Storage

The official website and user panel may use cookies or browser local storage to save login status, interface language, session identifiers, and necessary security state. This data helps maintain sessions, restore user choices, and reduce repetitive actions.

After the relevant storage is disabled or cleared, public pages remain accessible, but users may need to log in again, select a language again, or repeat some settings. UVvpn does not use these mechanisms to store the content of websites users visit.

Payment Processing and Data Sharing

UVvpn supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payments are processed by the relevant third-party payment services, which receive the information needed to complete a transaction under their own rules. UVvpn generally receives the order status, transaction result, and transaction identifiers used for reconciliation, and does not store complete authentication details for third-party payment accounts.

Except where necessary to complete payments, operate infrastructure, resolve faults, fulfill applicable obligations, or protect account and service security, UVvpn does not provide account or order data to unrelated parties. Service providers acting on UVvpn's behalf may process only the information necessary for the agreed purpose.

Retention, Deletion, and Policy Updates

Account data is retained while the account remains active. Order records are kept as needed for transaction reconciliation, refund processing, dispute resolution, and applicable obligations. Usage statistics are preferably maintained in aggregated or de-identified form. Once the processing purpose is complete, relevant data is deleted or de-identified, except where records must be retained by law or relate to an unresolved matter.

Users may submit requests to access, correct, or delete data through a ticket in their account. After a request is submitted, UVvpn first verifies account ownership and then processes data that can be deleted. Deleting an account may also end plan status, access to historical orders, and service access. Transaction records that must be retained by law are managed separately from routine account data.

This policy may be updated when service processes, technical implementations, or applicable rules change. Important changes will be published on this page, and the update month at the top of the page will be revised. Users can review the updated scope of processing before continuing to use the service.
